We're a little behind on the blogs, but getting back into routine as far as podcast production goes.
So on our little preview last week, husband, Luke, announced he'd had a great idea and has committed to run a marathon to raise $1,000 for each of those kilometres in the hope of facilitating walk in mental health clinics at Robinvale District Health Services.
The campaign has officially launched and you can check out everything to do with it on the website - 42Kfor42K.com.au
This week we are actually recording the podcast in the RDHS conference room because A) it was available B) that's who the 42K campaign is working with C) most of our guests are from RDHS so it makes sense.
We talk to Anita who is the Manager of Primary Care Services and we discuss all sorts of services available including their carers support program which we were unaware of and you can find information by clicking here.
We also get Julieanne in for a chat about the Australia Day Breakfast and why in a town like Robinvale it would be brilliant to see as many different cultures in attendance to celebrate what Australia means to you. We have loads of awards to be presented and a citizenship ceremony as well.
Cindy Hinterholzl is also in to talk about the final week of the school holiday program and the out of school hours program and you can find out more by giving them a call on 0408 565 572 or hit them up on Facebook.
Days and times of podcast production might be a bit fluid during this time of year because it is the busy season in this part of the world but we will endevour to have a weekly episode for you each week.
